Voyager Estate
Voyager Estate is a small second generation, family-owned estate in Margaret River. Established in 1978, Voyager Estate is currently undergoing full organic conversion. The Estate is one of Australia’s most ambitious and innovative producers of world-class Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. All wines are estate grown and reflect the unique qualities of the Stevens Valley, with its undulating slopes, warm summers and cooling maritime breezes.
But great wine is just the beginning. Our Cellar Door invites you to explore our wines with immersive, behind-the-scenes experiences and menus that are the best in food & wine pairing.
Sit back with a wine flight in our Wine Room and try our range, from vibrant whites, to aged reds or rare limited releases, all of our wines are available to taste or enjoy by the glass. If you’re feeling a little peckish, our chefs have put together a delicious selection of taste plates that compliment our wines. Wine flights start from $9, with tasting fees redeemable on take-home purchases. Dive a little deeper with a selection of hosted or private tastings, or learn more with an Estate Tour.
Take a sensory journey of discovery with our four or seven course Discovery menus, presented by Head Chef, Santiago Fernandez and his team.
We are located just 5 minutes drive south of Margaret River town.
In 2020, we released our first certified organic wine, the 2020 Project Sparkling Rosé. We look forward to release more of our organic wines in the coming years.
2018 was a landmark year for Voyager Estate, as we celebrated 40 years since the first plantings on our vineyards in Margaret River.
Our region has come a long way since 1978 and much has changed around here. But one thing that hasn’t changed is our commitment to crafting our place into our wines with uncompromising precision and elegance.
Every decision we make is designed to help us do that, and help establish Margaret River as one of the world’s great wine experiences.
Our Estate Tour is a fantastic way to discover everything about this magnificent property.
As you are taken around Voyager Estate, our tour guide provides you with an insight into what we do; from winemaking and viticulture to the history and personalities of Voyager Estate. With only 6 guests at any one time, it’s the best way to explore the Estate.
Discover our vineyards – the lifeblood of the Estate - see our winery barrel hall where you can taste wine from the barrel, our underground cellar and kitchen garden before tasting some of our wines with a guided tasting in our Cellar Door.
You then have the option to step into our Restaurant for our 4 or 7 course menus.
The 7-course Discovery Menu is our signature experience; each course is inspired by one of our wines. Head chef, Santiago (Santi) Fernandez and his team also take inspiration from the vineyards and winemaking process in creating dishes that bring a small part of our Estate to the table.
Our 4-course Discovery Menu is a taster of the 7-course, allowing those with limited time to choose some of their courses, either matched to our recommendations or selected from our extensive wine list.
